V0.4 Update - Visual rework and small improvements.

Version 0.4 is now available to play
This new update took longer than I expected due to life. But here are a few big changes and the next steps for this project.
Changelog:
- Visual rework, the art style was completely redone to have a more interesting look inspired by retro point-and-click adventures, including some perspective in the scenarios when the camera moves.
- New menu screen.
- New feedback when clues are grabbed: now you can see a small animation with the item you found.
- Small UI change in the information section of the notebook.
- Custom player notes are now available. Add your own notes, highlights, or stuff you want to remember with the rest of the information you'll collect during your investigation.
Roadmap:
- New dialog and conversation system -> Ask questions and present evidence to your witness to get the truth from their lips. This system is going to be inspired by the conversation system from the Ace Attorney saga.
- New solve mystery phase -> Once you have enough evidence, it will be time to present it to the police to convince them of your theories and keep the case open. This new phase is meant to replace the current "solve case" tab in the notebook, making it more integrated with the world and the characters. Just like the conversation system, it is going to be inspired by the Ace Attorney saga.
- Story expansion -> The investigation in the house is the first step, now you need to chase your suspects and unravel the secrets they hold. The current story was meant to be short for the game jam this game was originally developed for. Now that I want to make a full game out of this, the investigation in the house is going to be only the first chapter, where only some of the current story is going to be included, with more depth and longer puzzles to complete and unlock the full picture. The next update is going to include the first step in this direction, and it will aim to be a 1.0 demo for what I want the full game to be. If it is going to be the next update or if I'll publish some updates in the middle, I haven't decided yet.
I'm hoping to work on this project for a long time and, with some luck, create a full game out of a small game jam experiment just like I did with my first game, Hoping Forest. But this time, I want to give it the time it needs without a clear schedule or development time. I am aiming for a demo release in 2026, but not sure when. My next update here is probably going to be early next year tho, or late december with a few changes and improvements.
See you then!
